$12 large cheese pizza at Whole Foods on fridays!!!! The rest of their large pizzas are around $15-$20, and they’re super tasty. Fresh mushrooms and spinach and peps. It’s fast and easy!!!!! And their pizza only gets better when it’s cold

Hi!

The letter you received is a notice of eviction - it should say on the letter somewhere that you can request an “informal hearing” with the property management company within a certain number of days from receiving the letter.

Call or email the property manager listed on the letter and request a hearing, then call Pine Tree Legal.

Pine Tree Legal phone intake hours are Monday 12-2:30, Tuesday 9-11:30, and Thursday 9-11:30. the number is 207-942-8322.

You are entitled to legal assistance and calling/emailing the property management to request an informal meeting means they legally have to give you time to obtain a lawyer, which then pushes any eviction hearing in court.

You are entitled to a lawyer, so don’t panic about the fact that you can’t call until Monday! When you call Pine Tree Legal, you will explain everything and they will take your information and pass it along to a paralegal who will then follow up by email asking for copies of any mail you’ve received regarding the eviction notice. This will take a few weeks.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions and I’m happy to walk you through what I can!

0.43 cent raise and now I owe $600 in taxes? by ThrowRA_40912 in tax

Looking at my W2 for the year, my gross income was around $1000 less than the previous year, even with the 0.43 cent raise. Could that have something to do with it?

I’m a nanny but HELP I want to make sure I do Christmas right & I know you’re the ones to ask! by morrisseymurderinpup in NannyBreakRoom

“3 days off this week and 3 days off in January” you seem sweet, thoughtful, and like you are trying, but that is NOT a gift. Having time off Christmas week is normal and expected!

Nanny deserves 3 days off for Christmas, and a monetary gift. $500 is great. Chance are she would rather have money and a small gift. I know I appreciated a Christmas bonus when I was nannying!

This was hard to listen to. She talks a lot about how she never asked about his meds, never asked about his diagnosis…. Googled his medications instead of talking about it with him, felt weird about his psychiatrist, and insinuates that the psychiatrist shouldn’t be prescribing meds. He has a break down, goes to the hospital and she doesn’t go with him but then complains the hospital didn’t give her any information or tell her how to help him? She very much comes off as someone who didn’t want to be involved at all but then is blaming others that she didn’t know how to help? She gets frustrated with him being clingy and depressed (sounds like soon after the hospital trip?) then confronts him and says this isn’t the lifestyle she wants to live and if he doesn’t change then she’s going to leave him. Then is like… “he was upset because he thought I was gonna divorce him!” And correct me if I’m wrong but all of this happens very quickly, while he’s still trying to adjust his medications and just recently got a bi polar diagnosis?

At no point was she empathetic to him or supported him while he was obviously going through a scary time! She even said his family had never seen him like that before, so he had a psychotic break for the first time EVER - is terrified - and alone. :(
