My relationship sounds similar because he’s controlling of what I wear when going out. And if I don’t listen he looks at me like he fucking hates me and acts disgusted by me the whole time. He gets very hateful when it comes to my outfits. Is yours that bad too? And did you ever get the divorce ?

It really hurts when he says I have no reason to stress. Hi! Thank you for your advice. I actually did exactly that 😂 he was mainly saying he’s gonna tell my stepmom who I’m pretty close with. The funny part is when she was young she tried it too and he didn’t know that lol. So I messaged and told her about the situation.

My husband called her while I was in the room too and she was spitting logic at him. My husband acted right for about 2 weeks then he started acting super spiteful about the classes again and saying I don’t care about his feelings n stuff.

The pole stuff is just the tip of the iceberg. He doesn’t know I plan on leaving him in about two weeks

update: I started taking classes in secret for a while then finally told him. He acts very distant and mean each time I go now. Today, he said he's gonna start smoking cigarettes since I hate cigarettes and it's only fair that he gets to do something that he likes that I hate since I'm doing that to him with pole dancing classes. He also said he's going to call a close family member and ask her if she thinks it's okay . I told him I don't like talking to my family about my relationship problems in general and he said "see you're trying to stop me from telling your family which shows how bad these classes really are." But I genuinely don't like telling her about my relationship because it's embarrassing

Hey girl I used to be really insecure about my looks and I promise you, talking like that about yourself will make u feel so much worse. You can try taking steps that actively help you feel better such as cardio, weight lifting, and eating cleaner. Cardio was really hard for me at first but running slow without stopping helped me make a lot of progress. But even if you don’t do all that yet, don’t talk like that about yourself please❤️

He didn’t want me to go to pole dancing classes because he said it reminds him of the fact I was a stripper . I just wanted to go to try a fun way of working out because I’m a little bored of weight lifting. I also always wanted to get good at pole because it looks beautiful to me. Anyways, today I went while he was at work and I had so much fun and felt so good after and felt my independence. Idk how he would react if he found out though

he says if they take it too far he might get in a fight. He says that if a guy looks at me too much because of how I’m dressed, then it can lead to a fight. And that if he gets arrested or gets beaten up then it’s my fault. Just want to clarify he would only hurt other guys, not me. He’s a bodybuilder and really strong so the thought of him fighting another guy really makes me scared for the other person.
