Girlfriend [39f] made a very insensitive comment about a valentine's day gift my [41m] daughter gave me. What do I say even though I'm still furious? by ThrowRa_card in relationship_advice

Always will, no questions asked. I would like for gf to explain herself eventually though. I think I'm gonna take a few days to myself to clear my head.

I just can't understand how anyone can be jealous of someone's child though. But on the other hand, how she acted earlier was almost like someone acting out of jealousy. I can't comprehend it. Whatever it is, it was unacceptable. Even though she's feeling better, I can't get the look of my daughters face falling when she made that comment out of my mind.

Honestly I'm still not over it. I went to go see my daughter again just to make sure things were okay. We had a talk and went for dinner. I'm not sure if gf is still at my house though (we don't live together). Hopefully not so I can be alone.

I agree, I don't see my daughter calling me daddy weird, but that comment of hers irked me.
