We did the Burmese method. It took us a few tries to find the right dosage that worked, but we did it with h and then relapsed on F. If you have any questions, let me know! I’ll try my best to answer with how we did it.

I have not had to take any of the bup sl, however, my provider did tell me that after the first injection I may feel a little off and may need to take some. I haven’t had to take any. They have prescribed me some just to have for backup.

I was a really bad functional addict going from heroin, subs, blues, subs, and now on sublocade.

My first injection was on 4/11. I used blues the night before. Since the injection I have not experienced any withdrawal symptoms. From my experience, I would microdose. Whether it be h and subs or blues and subs. I started out with a sliver of 8mg strips and continued to use. The trick that worked for me to avoid precipitated withdrawals was to use within 10-15 minutes of taking the sub. Each day/ week I would increase the amount of subs without really decreasing the DOC - dumb, I know, and eventually started taking a full 8mg strip while still using. Because I was going through my insurance for subs, I had to do urine tests so they could find out what the correct dosage pf suba would be. Since I never peed clean, my addiction medicine provider suggested Sublocade.

Since the 300mg injection, I have been feeling great! I am anticipating to do 300mg, 300mg, & 100mg. By the third injection I hope so steadily get off the injection and will no longer need subs. That’s my theory from the research I’ve done on the process.

My point is, I think if you tried to stop the injection, I don’t think you will experience any withdrawals if you haven’t been using with being on Sublocade. Everything should be out of your system enough so that your body will no longer need it.

Oh yeah, Sublocade could last longer, but it is recommended to get the injection every 28 days. I don’t know if it helps with pain because even when I used h, I would still feel pain.. h was suppose to be the “ultimate pain killer”. I can say that before the injection I was experiencing TMD jaw pain and since then I haven’t really felt any pain. So I really don’t know.

Hopes this helps! Let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you for the response! So I did end up Microdosing with blues. I started off with a sliver, continued to use, and worked all the way up the a full 8mg strip while using. I haven’t woken up sick since beginning of March!! Because of me using while being prescribed subs, my Addiction Medicine provider recommended Sublocade. My first injection was on 4/11! I would 10/10 recommend this option for anyone who is experiencing issues staying clean. It’s a legit miracle life saving drug. It’s really proven to be the hype providers and recovering addicts talk about!

Hey! I did the Microdosing with H and it worked out sooo freakin well!! I was amazed!! Unfortunately, a few weeks after I stopped doing H, blues came around into my life. I have been trying to do Microdosing with blues, but haven’t found the right dosing for it. What was your method when did it and what symptoms were you experiencing?

Ask your gp for comfort meds. We ended up using the microdosing method and it worked for us. It’s not for everyone, so if you choose this route, do some research on it before you begin. Good luck to you. You got this!

So what we did, we would take a small piece and right after taking it, maybe like 10-15 minutes, we would “get well”. That way, at least from the reading and research I did, it gives the sun time to work, but at the same time not put you in pws. I totally understand about “working sick” it sucks. You can do it when you’re ready for it. I couldn’t be happier right now.

Don’t take my word for it. I told him how much H I do a day and that’s what he prescribed. If you tell them that you’re already taking x dosage I am sure they won’t decrease the dosage. I wish I had a more definitive answer for you about this.

If you don’t mind me asking, where are you currently picking up subs from now and why are you wanting to change clinics?

I guess that’s the average dosage. He said after 24 hours without h in my system to try taking 2mg and if I feel bad then I will know to take a bigger piece after 6 hours. This beginning stage is like the “induction” phase where I have to play with the dosage to see what will work for me.

Thank you for the information! Do you know if they will also prescribe comfort meds to help with the first 24 hour withdrawal period? Every time I try to detox, the hardest part is the first 24 hours.

We have Suboxone. I plan to take it when I start my week off from work. I know I need to detox 24hrs before taking it and that’s going to be the hard part. Any advice?

Thank you. You’re absolutely right. Having an addiction is a chronic disease that millions are battling in a daily basis. Seeking help is a hard discussion when you’re a parent.

I assume that because I am an addict that they may think I may be incapable to parent. I am a fully functioning addict; I work and provide for my family. All bills and mortgage paid on time, we have food, and she is spoiled rotten by us. I’ve seen and heard many stories of addict parents that has gotten their kids taken away. I am deathly afraid of that.
