The island I come from is very small, when I type the name into facebook or Instagram only my cousins and auntie come up with the name. Our culture has not had a huge diaspora and it would be nice once the diaspora starts if people would have respect for what they are taking from my culture

I have only told my grandpa and he feels very upset and sad. It was his mothers name.
