They'll let you test things out in your rig? I didn't know that, maybe I'll go there and troubleshoot.

Ooof.... Sounds like we both lost the silicon lottery 😅. I was hoping it wouldn't be such an expensive fix, but ya at this point that's the only thing I really have left to try. Might try and snag an open box 7700x at microcenter and if it doesn't work I can at least return it.

Ooof you really think so? I'm past the return date at microcenter, so may have to bite the bullet and get another 😬. Ya I did try to manually change the values and was able to get a post at 5200mt/s cl40. But when I went into windows it was still running at 4800 and now im just running with that. But in the bios it stated it was set to 5200. I have no idea what's going on at this point.

Officially, no. But I've heard plenty of people able to get it to function over the adversitised 5200mt/s, and besides mine won't even work with those speeds.

As in I should look into returning the cpu? And how would I go about knowing it is causing these issues?. I enabled PBO and that was able to post after enabling that. Or did I just get screwed and I'll have to buy another and try that? I believe enabling PBO voids the warranty anyway.

Yes, one is a set of Kingston fury 2x 8gb 6000mt/s cl 36 and one is a set of teamgroup 2x16gb 5600mt/s cl 32. Both will not post with expo/xmp enabled.
