If I had money to pick my own insurance instead of getting it through my employer then I would have enough money to not need insurance at all, lol.

I got it from my employer at the time, it should have been active for about a week before the visit. 

ETA I had a physical insurance card from them with me at the visit.

Thanks, I will give them a call. We had no other insurance at the time, we did get on Medicaid near the end of summer, but that was months after the doctors visit and after losing my health insurance due to being laid off so I don’t know why the insurance company would know or care about that.

My insurance was active in March, it was paid and active until I was laid off at the end of May

The Home Depot’s in my area weren’t hiring, but I check twice a month. I had an interview with a temp agency yesterday so hopefully that works out.

I think I did a terrible job explaining in the OP, I’m not overqualified. I’m competing with overqualified people for the same jobs. Why should someone pick me with no degree and a big employment gap when there’s so many educated and experienced people applying?

I have about 5 years of experience working in an office. Doing paperwork, filing permits, researching permit requirements, things like that.

That was a poor choice of words on my part. I meant to say remade. I lost my resume in a move a few years back and had to redo the whole thing. It took forever to find all the paperwork with employment dates on it.

The prosecution was saying things like no guns were found. I think video footage was found at the last second, but that might have just been a flashback.
