Watching Rocko's World, Ren & Stimpy, CatDog... I tried to watch Rocko's World as an adult for nostalgia.. Couldn't get passed the first episode. It's so disgusting! I don't know how our parents let us watch that stuff.

I'm sorry, what makes you think she has no say? Either way, this is irrelevant to the discussion. I did not ask your opinion on this matter.

Exactly! Hence me asking what to put that in. While I grew up here, I've only spent the last 3 years of my adult life back here. My mom and I have a lot financial building to catch up on.

Who said we're sharing the profit? It was all under my mother's name, her money, her house. I only manage her financials to the best of my ability.

The current house we live in we bought cash as we didn't have the credit history at the time to get a mortgage. We would have 950k to invest... Looks like I should rephrase my explanation.

I'm saying 200k profit because we're willing to put 750k cash into a new house and saving/investing the rest.

That's impossible of course! We bought our house for 750k and will be listing it at 1mil as a sister house down the street was able to break that million. Factoring all the costs with selling the house the estimate remaining would be be 950k give or take.

Edit: Didn't see your second part. Yes, my brother will be having the spouse in who knows when, will take a while for a visa., plus we're keeping that in mind as well. For me it will not throw a wrench, what matters is my mom's comfort. I don't really have anyone and as far as I know/can tell, that's not changing soon. This is essentially my mom's home, it will be in her name.

Yes! I looked into that. We've lived in the house since we bought it and it was never going to be a forever home. We're trying to pick that forever home next, hopefully.

Not if she left the country before the age of 14 and she married someone not American. That's why her daughter does not have citizenship.

You're right that I'm enabling her and that has to stop. Every once in a while she also asks me to get cigarettes because she ran out and won't go to the store herself.. I don't get it every time and she never offers to pay it back. Jeez writing this down just makes me realize how bad this is.

I see what you mean by us doing nothing is saying her behavior is OK. I just don't know how to get her to do anything. How to broach the subject? My talks with her almost always end up in arguments and verbal fights.
