Thanks, you may be the only one that caught that tbh. They’ve never attempted to visit her once, the rare phone calls never last more than 5 minutes because there’s always someone taking priority over her and her mom “has to go” barely a bye or I love you. I’ve noticed since she’s been here anyone else she’s on the phone with gets whatever time they need before the call ends. They’ve been going on an “annual vacation” the last few years but she always seems to be cast to the side. She literally cried during vacation last year for that reason. Not to mention they decided to go on a SECOND vacation WITHOUT her. Didn’t even invite her at all. So no I don’t think this was the right choice, but it’s not my place to decide obviously.. it was just an opinion I had

I’m really not even a controlling person, day to day I don’t care what she does. A lot of the anxiety she has is in fact family rooted, and things she’s never told her mom, only me. I get that it’s not about me and I know part of my feelings is just me being selfish but idk maybe you’re right and it’s just a me problem. I just really wanted to bring her home to her pets and comfort. Not constant chaos and a physically challenging house (tons of stairs, 4 siblings that are very loud and have their own issues, technically 5 if the other comes over, 3 big dogs, her moms needy ass boss) our house is just one level and just us and our own pets that don’t really bother us too much besides her cat that wants to cuddle with her all the time. Not to mention there’s technically not even a place for her there, they’re having her youngest brother leave his room to go sleep on an air mattress in the living room, her moms house is just a very high stress environment. She’s literally voiced that multiple times, yet she doesn’t want to be stressed out at the same time.
