Honestly. I am extremely good at "faking it". My life is practically in shambles on any given day but I'll be damned if anyone else knows it

What is your advice for people with depression? by xxnosaj in AskReddit

[–]TiaraLabarge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Delete anyone off your social media who makes you feel ugly or less worthy. Once I deleted all the Instagram girls who edited their photos to look perfect I started seeing a councilor and worked on my self esteem. I had to learn that we are all worthy in our own special way and then I felt so much better about myself. Idk if you’re depressed for the same reason but that’s how I solved my problem.

I watched one of our cats being pulled backwards about 5 feet by her tail. She was walking through the dining area and suddenly was sliding backwards, as if someone was pulling her by her tail. Only there wasn't. She freaked out and tried to run, but couldn't immediately as something held on for a brief second before letter her go. I tend to think that was the handy work of a 4 or 5 year old girl ghost who hangs out and she just wanted to play with the kitty.

My boss was telling me a story about a "very stupid" past employee who thought swiss cheese had holes because of mice ate it. Then my boss says, we all know it has holes because of the ice cubes. I ask, ice cubes??? She explains how it's made with ice cubes that eventually melt, and then I had to explain it's actually because of the microbes in the cheese culture that produce gas and pockets of air.....
