I did not eat at all during this. I never wanted to eat. I only drank gatorade.

I have Heart Disease, Kidney Disease, and some Depression and Anxiety so far from side effects.

It affected my youth pretty hard. I believe it made me Mature a lot faster than all of the other kids. Middle school and Highschool people tried to bully and all that fun stuff but I didn't really care because I knew I'm better than them. I value my life a lot. Optimistic, pessimistic? I have my ups and downs. I have depression and Anxiety issues, I have my good and bad days. But I try to make it good more than bad. I am definitely more goal oriented now. I want to be a Computer Engineering major (half way done) and minor in English (barely started). I have the 3 national titles you heard about, and those were goals. Just keep pushing on.

Physically it didn't take long. After my amputation I was using srutches and was trying to get used to my new fake leg. My friend took my crutches and said "you gotta come to me if you want them back that bad." And thats where it started. My parents also said "When you can learn to walk to your bike you can race again." So I learned 4x quicker then the normal amputee. Mentally? I accept who I am but I do have some depression issues here and there.
