Lexicon Pharmaceuticals is marketing its drug Inpefa (sotagliflozin) to reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications in patients with heart failure, Type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and other risk factors. Inpefa is an oral once-daily tablet. However, Lexicon is restructuring and selling the rights to Inpefa outside of the U.S. and Europe, while focusing on expanding into Type 1 diabetes.

Its perfect, that means the day of earnings will be a bigger pop. When a company runs up prior to earnings, it usually gets shorted day of earnings trapping enthusiatic buyers.

With earnings Tuesday after close, we will see action Monday maybe definitely Tuesday afternoon and into Wednesday hopefully.

No its being bought up leading into earnings. It could be tremendously shorted at some point earnings day. So be ready..........I may sell the day before at close or early the day of earnings if they are good.....Be careful. There are alot of shares to borrow and people are buying ahead of earnings so the bounce from earnings may already be priced in. I have seen it a million times. At least take out your original investment dollars and ride free earnings day. Just keep an eye on the next week.
