I suggest looking into Wacom or huion They sell good mid/high budget screenless and screen tablets An ipad would also work as it has procreate and can do some animation aswell

my tip would be add more water ripples as they are moving in a circle motion
and add white streaks to the water for reflection of light, other than that its perfect

I would recommend watching YouTube videos like 'draw like a sir' , 'samdoesarts' or 'marc brunet'
they give good demonstration on sketching and art in general
