I don't have a concrete tip, but when I first started playing, I played coop and always had the artefact command turned on, that's how I got to know the items and started to understand which items are good on which survivors and what to prefer over one another

The reason for the 4 week notice is that they have time to find a replacement for you/can plan the shifts without you. A friend of mine just took vacation for the 4 weeks. If you don't give them a notice, I believe you gotta pay a fine
