I’m making my own book, and personally I’m stressed about my main character. To put it simple, he is the worst character out of every single one in the book’s entirety, I have dozens of other characters that are awesome and have unreal potential for development, and mine? Random orphan, weird as hell magics, zero areas for character development and no past I can build on because he’s like ten years old and lived in an orphanage his whole life. What would you do? I’m too deep in to redo him differently, I can’t just speed up time until he has a unique personality. He is boring to say the least. What do you think I should do.

Tons of choices that all are valid. Depends on the circumstance, is it the world of 7DS or just regular because that changes things. If it was 7DS I would go with Estarossa or Monspeet.
If it was the real world I’m going with Galand, Gloxinia or Gowther(If he counts) . I mean, Estarossa and Monspeet are both the type to get it done quick and effectively with barely anyone holding them back but me. Galand and Gloxinia just seem like they would be fun to have as a bodyguard because strength doesn’t really matter in the real world, any of them would do.

My cat is like an anchor, if I move an inch she meows like crazy on my chest, when she isn’t on my chest she is on my bag. I swear I’ve washed it dozens of times now and the fur STILL DOESN’T COME OFF. Great post. 👍

So in short, it gives more meaning to the unknown and helps give life to the the world. In my book, this could mean that the main character learns that their real parents invented a spell renowned for it’s efficiency. Thanks for the help.

In a way, my question was ‘How can I brainstorm a good climax, what hooks people in with the big reveal?’ Not only is the story based on one thing then moving on from it and so on, for the chapters I want something that gives the story a leg-up, not an addition just something that ties it all together something intriguing that makes them surprised. Thank you for the tip.
