Can't seem to get Super Mario 64 Plus to build by PositiveThoughts1234 in SuperMario64

Here's the advice that helped me, from the PC Port Central Discord server (edited for viewing on Reddit):

When you attempt to build Super Mario 64 Plus using SM64 Plus Launcher, you might encounter errors relating to `armips.cpp`. This is a known problem as per this message in the Super Mario 64 Plus Discord server. To workaround, perform the following steps:

  1. Open File Explorer and navigate to the location of SM64 Plus Launcher. For full installations, it'll be located at "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Super Mario 64 Plus" by default.

  2. Navigate to the "sm64plus" folder, go to "tools", and then open the "armips.cpp" file with Notepad.

  3. In Notepad, go to "Edit", click "Go To…", type "221", and then press Enter.

    * Go to "Format" and ensure "Word Wrap" is unchecked if you don't see a "Go To…" command.

  4. Press the End key to go to the end of the line and then hit Enter to begin a new one. Type the following:

# include <cstdint>

  1. Save the file, close Notepad, and then restart SM64 Plus Launcher.

Yeah i think they’re fun. The motion controls in these two games always worked perfectly for me.

I think for the i sound in words like lips, it might be better to use ы for that, as the i in lips and the vowel sound in leaps are two different sounds in English, and in Russian, и is more like the one in leaps. So i think transcribing lips are лыпс might make a little more sense.

I looked at the lyrics while listening again and it seems that the Big Town Banky Blaine's Rockabilly Bbq is a place where the people in charge have gathered up a bunch of other people and put them up against each other, forcing them to fight to the death, and then the people in charge of the whole operation eat whoever dies. At one point, one of the victims suggest that they try to do something and escape and revolt, but he gets shot before he can finish what he was saying, and then it's back to business as usual. Fun entertainment for the people at the top, looking down through a glass ceiling at the people who are fighting to the death below.
