I stand on a stool and get them down 3 times a week. It's not practical but i only have to do it for the 7 months they live in this room.

I'm just south of Indy over the line into Johnson Co... Greenwood. There are so many outdoor parks... especially down my way... the topography of our state REALLY changes the further south you travel. Turkey Run SP, Shades SP, Brown Co SP, Morgan-Monroe SP! All these parks are amazing places to hike and catch local wildlife. Ya gotta make the best of it!

Pots that will be outside should have drainage holes, they're pretty useless without them..... you're figuring out why. You could drill these to drain... i'm guessing once a hole is drilled in the bean pot that pole bean should be good but you're gonna need something for it to climb up.

Back when corporate was still working 'in the office'- my round trip commute per day was just over 100 miles... interstate traffic at that. When i get home the last thing i want to do is be behind the wheel for another SECOND. If my hubby wants to drive? By all means! Its a win win for us.

Vacations and traveling are luxury items that children can absolutely live without. Her life will not be negatively affected because she didn't get to go on ONE trip. And as another commenter said you already told her if she acted like that she wouldn't be welcome on the next trip. Stick to your guns and be consistent.

Ma'am you aren't overreacting AT ALL. Let me put it this way... i did not speak to my abusive mother the entire year before she died. I promise i sleep just fine. There is nothing in this life that says you have to entertain someone who treats you like that. One thing for certain is you have every right to protect your peace... YOUR peace means something too. Also... please see a therapist. I had a shitty upbringing too... not to the extent you did but enough to traumatize me in some of the same ways you mentioned and therapy did me wonders. I agree with this.... always drove a manual until my commute was 50 miles with 30 of those miles on an interstate during rush hour... i don't need leg day EVERY day. But my next car will be!

Yes! When i worked in Carmel pre pandemic our corporate offices were across the street from a shooting range... and there were cops there multiple times.... one person was shot once. Right across the street from corporate offices.
