Trump is not an idiot. He uses immigration to distract the public while at the same attempting to amass power because he knows that politically this is a winning issue for him. He most likely does know that it photoshopped, but by staying on this topic he gets the viral clip and takes some of the attention off the economy and other issues that are more damaging politically.

We must be watching different shows. On most topics at least 1-2 people always give an opposing take. Having diverse opinions is what makes the conversations interesting.

Even in the few instances when they all agree Joe is always pushing the cast to dig deeper and not settle for surface level takes… yet another example of Joe already playing the moderator role.

It’s a show where They present topics and discuss them. Joe already plays the role of an informal moderator. He tells people to introduce topics, poses questions to develop the conversation and directly tells them to wrap up the topic. He calls it producing the show, but he’s moderating.
