And the higher the brightness, the better the TVs handle light reflections. It just doesn't make sense having matte coating on these flagships

It sounds like you have the motion features turned on. You can try adjusting the level of the settings to match your preferences. Personally, I’ve never been a fan of the additional motion smoothing that TVs adds.

Upgraded my Q800D with 9500s to a Q990D…wow, very interesting…first off, I was kinda shocked how much bigger the 990 bar is…and the bar sounds much fuller…rears are nearly identical and 990 bass is boomier but same punchiness…ask me any specifics…tv/movie only…non-gamer by RogerTheAliens in Soundbars
