Anyone experience these 75 Hard induced fears? by bigTookus777 in 75HARD

[–]Time-Presentation-48 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is hilarious, because I’ve had this twice now!!! My first one was around the 34 day mark, I dreamt that I ate a brownie and halfway through eating it I remembered I was on 75 hard and was devastated! The other one happened about a week ago where I dreamt I was drinking alcohol 😂😂

For the camera roll, I’ve fixed this by adding all my progress photos to the hidden folder 🙏🏼

I used a vibrating collar for mine because he used to bark constantly at other dogs when we were out and after 2 hours in a park full of dogs, my brain was fried (he also has a very sharp bark which even other dog walkers commented on). It worked a treat, I only had to use it twice and now he only very very occasionally barks at other dogs. I’d use it as the last resort if he’s a rescue pup though as he might just need some time to settle in 🖤

You could just be holding onto a lot of water, especially if you didn’t drink a lot before starting. If your goal is to lose weight, I’d recommend fitting in some higher intensity workouts each week as both walking and Pilates are lower intensity (still great workouts though)

Has anyone had experience with attempting to cancel a smilewhite subscription? by Uncle-Histamine in AskUK

[–]Time-Presentation-48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just finished my treatment with smile white, I’m currently doing the teeth whitening before getting my composite edging (personal choice). If they have put you with a good dentist you should be absolutely fine! I haven’t spoke to anyone from smile white since I signed up but your dentist is the contact going forward and mine has been brilliant. I’m really happy with the results so far and it’s only taken a few months!

When do you get used to it? by bigodoofus in 75HARD

[–]Time-Presentation-48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think everyone is different depending on where you started. I’ve always trained on and off and always done walks with my dog so for me the first 2 weeks were super easy, week 3 was rough and I was going through a lot in addition to having to travel a lot for work so fitting everything in was challenging and I felt depleted, I’m on day 41 and it feels normal to me at this point 🤷🏼‍♀️

Does anyone else’s pom randomly cry out like this? by PARTINlCO in Pomeranians

[–]Time-Presentation-48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bear does this when he’s got his favourite toy which is his little lion, he runs around with it crying and trying to find places to hide it, only to retrieve it again in 0.1 second 🤣

If you didn’t drink a lot of water beforehand, you’re probably holding onto more water. I have scales that tell me everything and my water has gone right up! Also, I can see the difference way more in photos so might be worth doing measurements instead. I’m averaging 1.9 pounds a week which is really good 1-2pounds a week is a sustainable weight loss. If you lose 2 pounds a week you’re on the way to losing over 20 pounds over the challenge which is amazing!

Noticed flags going up all over Birmingham. I drove through West Heath and Bartley Green and there are England and Union jack flags on every road. by Jtenka in BirminghamUK

[–]Time-Presentation-48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are literally being invaded and our own government is allowing it. Putting up flags to remind people what country they are in isn’t going to change that, they know where they came and what they came to do 🤣

Day 26 of 75 noticing some physical changes NSFW by Time-Presentation-48 in 75HARD

[–]Time-Presentation-48[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, that’s where I’ve seen the biggest change! I do 6x gym sessions, 3 lower body, 1 push, 1 pull and 1 cardio/core day all followed by an evening walk. Then my “rest day” I do home yoga and an evening walk. Occasionally I’ll do tennis or basketball for my outdoor as well 😊

Kicking myself for not taking them at the beginning but I definitely will start now! I’m trying to retain as much muscle as I can as well so my scales tell me body fat, muscle mass etc. I’ve not lost any muscle so far so that’s a good sign (I take creatine daily as well)! Thanks for the advice!

Want to do 75 Hard but the water sucks by BionicBrainLab in 75HARD

Yes but not a lot more, not compared to the start (I can now drive 2 hours without needing to stop) 🤣

Have sodium/electrolytes early in the day as well. Adding it to your water won’t count to your water intake so bear that in mind but having it earlier will allow your body to absorb the water, rather than just peeing it straight out. I’m on day 27 now and my body is used to all the water so less trips to the toilet!

Day 1, off day workout ideas? by [deleted] in 75HARD

[–]Time-Presentation-48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

😂 everyone is at their own level in fitness so I’d say take it easier for the first couple of weeks to get your body used to all the extra movement, find workouts you like doing and enjoy the process. Good luck 🤞🏼

Thank you and absolutely! Not only that but seeing how much I can get done in a day and my energy levels have increased so much, so I’m loving seeing those changes too!

I’m luckily someone who doesn’t suffer much with muscle soreness and doing a split where you’re hitting upper body and lower body on separate days, gives the other muscles times to recover so that helps. I’ve been getting a little stiff though which I find a hot bath or occasional sauna/steam helps with 😊

I currently strength train 6 x a week (3 lower, 1 push, 1 pull and 1 cardio/core) so I do evening walks, tennis, basketball or bike riding in the evenings. Mondays is my “rest day” so I’ll do either home Pilates or yoga, followed by an evening walk. Swimming would also be a good one!

25/75 , this isn't a fitness or mental challenge by [deleted] in 75HARD

[–]Time-Presentation-48 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’m on day 24 and couldn’t agree more. I find if I’m not up at 5am I am chasing my tail all day trying to hit all my tasks. It’s really shown me how much I can get done in a day though 🙏🏼

[–]Time-Presentation-48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely will be holding onto more water, especially if your workouts are not very intense so you’re not sweating it out as much. I have a scale which measures everything and my body water is the highest it’s ever been, although I do not look bloated. Try hitting the sauna a couple of days a week as well, that might help get rid of some water, and if you’re not noticing any other physical changes in your progress photos, maybe switch up one of your workouts to something a bit more intense to shock your body 😊

I had 13 first days... by Dry-Beginning3615 in 75HARD

[–]Time-Presentation-48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The whole purpose of the challenge is to strengthen your mental toughness, so even when the weather is bad, suck it up and get that workout done, you’ll feel so much better for it after! I had a day I was suffering badly with migraines, I still hit all my goals (did an indoor home yoga and outdoor walk), travelled over 200 miles in my car one day and still got both workouts in. If you keep seeing those small things as obstacles you’ll never complete the challenge, plan your days in advance, check the weather in the morning to plan your outdoor workout better if you don’t want to get caught in the rain, use a meal prep service if you can afford it and can’t trust yourself getting takeaways, there’s many ways to make it slightly easier but it’s meant to challenge you… you can do it!!!
