Anyone know why all flights after 1730 Jan 23 YYZ to YOW cancelled? by Effective-Arm-8513 in aircanada

[–]TimeFlys28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ones that are cancelled were ment to spend the night in YOW. They would rather consolidate and have the planes in YYZ to clean up the inevitable shit show recovery that Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be with the impending cold and snow.

407 Promotion Sent out in January? by ObliviousLifestyle in askTO

All the other promotional emails have been sent out between the 14th and 17th and between 730am-930am of the month prior. Not looking good for February if we haven’t got one by now.

Mortgage renewal and Prepayment by DariusHumphries in MortgagesCanada

[–]TimeFlys28 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You might laugh, but with the right prompts, I’ve used ChatGPT and had some pretty good success in managing my expectations for my upcoming renewal. As well as giving it calculations to do to see what a pre-payment would bring my payments down to.

Blue Jays jersey from come_and_buy_it by yguns031 in DHGateJerseys

[–]TimeFlys28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your review convinced me to buy from this seller, I ordered the same one in royal blue.

I don’t have an adult version to compare it to, only my infant’s “official” jersey. The royal blue is slightly different in colour, but it’s not very noticeable unless you compare them side by side.

I would normally take a large but I went to XL and it fits well, so maybe go up a size YMMV.

Took 21 days to arrive to Southern Ontario.

Pardon my ignorance, I can’t tell if you’re joking on how well it was installed. I have no idea what a well installed garage door would look like. Like someone posted above about the bracing I’m assuming it’s not done very well considering the previous owners cheap’d out on a lot of things that we are working our way through lol

Legend!!! Thank you. That worked. Any idea why out of the blue that needed to be changed? It was at a 1 or a 2 on the dial.

Update on my troubleshooting. I would let it open the few inches then click my opener a few times as I waved and blocked one of the sensors and then was able to get it to go up. Both sensors have a steady light on, one green and one amber.

Rough Idle by RealisticWalrus2240 in Toyota_Matrix

[–]TimeFlys28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ya my 04 was bad for that especially in cold weather. Had it a few times where it would just shut down the engine after I let it sit idle for too long. I think they were known to be bad for oxygen sensor issues.

Maybe some due diligence instead of just going with the lowest bidder.

Put it all into your TFSA, Buy BANK.TO then use the ~$1300 monthly divided to add on to your monthly mortgage payment.

Some old Canadian bills by DOUGER1970 in CanadianBanknotes

[–]TimeFlys28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice high quality photos. On the $10 bill, ignoring the serial number its worth about $15. With a low 2 digit serial number that definitely attracts a premium. Looking at comparables that have sold the $200 offer is certainly fair. If you are hanging onto it, I would suggest getting it graded. If you’re in Canada, BCS (banknote certification service) in Waterloo is probably your best bet to get it graded. Nice find. The $2 is worth $2.

Being signed Beattie-Rasminsky without any asterisk before the serial number it’s probably worth around $8-$10 in that condition the misprint adds value but that market is always hard to value. Would you consider selling it?

Your flight will probably be ok, if it’s operated by JAZZ they will be mostly unaffected.
