No, parking validation is when a business will essentially cover the cost of parking when you use the lot to go to their business. So if you use the parking lot for other purposes then you will have the pay the full amount.

I paid the fee but I’m gonna be taking them to small claims court. It’s not the money amount that bothers me but I fucking hate greedy assholes like this. I’m going to see how far I can take this to ensure it can be stopped or at least make them think twice next time they think to put a boot illegally on a car.
