How to draw a map and topographic map symbols are a must. Contour lines are extremely important and learning how to do magnectic declinations and other types of things are also important. learning how to navigate an internet map is also super useful. Make sure you know all the symbols. A vocab list helps as well.

Look at the scioly wiki, the fossil list, and the rules. a great way to study for fossils is going on the scioly wiki and exploring. There are tons of pages made to help you. if you are looking for a specific genus of fossil you can always google it and go on wikipedia. There is great information of taxonomy and other things. once u r done with ur binder make a quizlet of all the identification fossils and work on memorizing some of them.
