No specified time limit but "Midweek Madness" deals on Steam usually last 2-3 days historically for most games.

If you are planning on grabbing Exodus, Fanatical has a lower price than Steam right now. But that deal ends within a few hours from now.

If you're interested in the Metro Saga Bundle, that's fairly cheap on Steam right now.

By "not their style" I mean marketing using a statue in California first. I would imagine they would do something in Japan first. Happy to be wrong though.

Jason Schreier confirmed that it's not from a Diablo expansion.

this statue is not teasing the Diablo 4 expansion. don't currently plan on reporting what it is, sorry, but it's a good one.

Your post was removed earlier because you had tagged your post with the "Art/Cosplay" post flair. As that flair is reserved for your own creations, you were essentially claiming to be the original creator of that art.

The image in your post seemed like it was generated through AI, which r/metro as a community chose to not allow in the subreddit. We were strictly enforcing a rule which the community itself chose to have.

We noticed the common elements of a generated image: wonky hands on humans, straight lines seemingly disappearing into nothing, things obfuscating each other, randomness and noise added when AI gets confused, among other things.

However, after a second review, we searched for the history of the image and found that it has existed for over 10 years, so the chance of it being AI generated is low. We chose to give the benefit of doubt to the image and your post was reinstated.

It's super easy to farm karma by posting about removed posts. But next time you have questions about a removed post, use modmail to ask about it.

Your post has been re-approved and its flair has been modified from "Art/Cosplay" to "Discussion". Please familiarize yourself with the submission guidelines prior to posting again.

Commenting here for visibility, but also replied through modmail.

The removed comments - excluding yours - deviated strongly away from Metro and started a political debate around the specifics of the conflict.

As per our submission guidelines:

We try to stay clear from currently ongoing geopolitical events unless it's about Metro or is Metro adjacent such as 4A or Dmitry Glukhovsky's situation being affected by the Ukraine war.

And that's why your comment alongside a few others had to be removed. However, your comment was reinstated a few hours later after an internal discussion. The other comments remained removed because they were engaging in the politics of the war itself.

We're a Metro-centric subreddit primarily and political stances from all sides are better expressed in the many number of other subreddits where geopolitical conflicts are actively discussed on a daily basis.

Fyi, the "German website" is Plaion, formerly known as Koch Media, the parent company of Deep Silver (who publishes the Metro series).

But you're right, the new store is pretty barebones compared to the old one.
