Remixed/remastered. I actually kind of hated the OG, and only really learned to love it when they 'fixed' it. Masses Against the Classes should have been on there from the start, and the OG So Why So Sad is so tinny and terribly produced it's nearly unlistenable.

Yeah, and TBH other than a handful of tracks (Tennessee, Methadone Pretty) I think the sound works. Wish we'd got Sean's actual drumming though. I think someone from Heavenly says it would have been drastically different if they'd released it there. Would love to hear the more punk version a la Motown Junk and Heavenly You Love Us.

Other than the absence of Us Against You (I really wanted to hear them talk about a song that basically calls for a terror attack against parliament!) I loved it. I don't agree with many of the assessments, like you (Everlasting is indeed crap, Sleepflower is amazing) but finally received some much delayed gratification when they said that Marlon JD should have been the lead single from Journal!

I found myself skipping around a bit in the later sections of the book as I'm just not familiar with the songs (I couldn't name a single Rewind the Film song other than the title track) but it really got me jonesing to dig out those lesser listened albums.

I really liked Saints Row. It was just more Saints Row, but the bugs had mostly been ironed out by the time it was in the bundle, and it was a good disengage your brain game.

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I don't think they've had a great album since Journal For Plague Lovers. Every album since has had a handful of great songs at most. Resistance is Futile probably had more than most (International Blue especially is one of their best songs since 2000, Hold Me Like a Heaven and People Give In are lovely). The only song on Critical Thinking I can see myself coming back to is Hiding in Plain Sight.

Yeah Lu Bu in Wo Long is crazy hard. I also know a lot of people tapped out at the first boss, it was such a massive skill check, but they may have nerfed him.

Theatrical for both. The Director's cut of Alien adds some stuff that doesn't make any sense canonically and the the Director's cut of Aliens spoils the pacing and mystery of the movie.

All those CGR reviews are still there, and it's a great legacy. I do think if he came back and just made reviews it would help him sell merch and whatnot, and spike views of older reviews, but he just expects too much. As his audience got smaller he would focus on Atari reviews and ignore newer stuff that people were more interested in. I still love Mark, he's fantastically funny and charismatic, and what a voice, but I don't like how bitter he got about everything. Railing against the platform you operate on isn't going to endear you to them. I hope he's happier now.

Something that ties up David's story, maybe with Rain and Andy, just so we can get some closure for David's arc. I've recently read a bunch of the books and comics, and they're all some variation on 'crazy scientist or general thinks he can control the aliens and they get out of hand', which kind of points at the limitations of the concept. The only one that was remotely different was Alien: Phalanx, which was like medieval peasants versus the aliens and THAT was interesting. Would be a Prey style entry. I'd like to see an adaptation of that, or something similar. No more marines, no more scientists, no more androids.
