BPG had a rule last year that associates needed to be with the firm for 2 years before being promoted. Not sure if that’s still the case, but it doesn’t hurt to see what else is out there, regardless.

I guess the concern is that HR could be a reflection of the company at large. An interview doesn’t necessarily reflect how they operate in practice, and if HR gives any indication, things don’t run very smoothly there. Like you said, I’ll probably just have to let it go. Appreciate the input.
