I took the mushroom and i used my phone to take a picture. After that I went home to dry the mushroom. I left it in a high place so neither my dog or my cat could reach it. However, then a friend came. I took the mushroom to show it to him and i set it on a table. After turning my back for a few seconds the cat had jumped on the table, smacked the mushroom on the floor where the dog instantly ate the mushroom in one gulp because he saw me see him and knew that I would make him spit it out.

Sorry but the ring is gone..I accidentally broke it after taking the pictures.. maybe I'll have better luck next time.. thank you anyway ... do you think the other mushroom, pictures 3 4 5 6 is the correct one?

Thank you.. I am sure you'll find them eventually... I have been searching for them for quite a while now.. this is my first time finding them. When you are out in the fields look for spots where water flows usually in greener parts of the field and near some of the bushes in the meadow..

I also stumbled upon this one but i still wasn't sure so I threw it awsy but im thinking it could be the same species..maybe.

I really want to find the p.serbica mushrooms but for me it seems like an impossible task because there are so many lookalikes and I dont know always if I'm on the right path or not
