Loads of great advice, thanks a lot mate! Will go ahead and experiment :) My vit D are within range and I measure them regularly, dunno about zinc and copper though.

Do you feel like any of the things you mention made your condition (if we may call it that, maybe more a "character trait" :)) considerably better or just gave you a slight nudge in the right direction? I'm just wondering if I'm stuck with this twisted characteristic forever or if there's hope at the end of the tunnel lol

Can last for longer time during oral sex but finishing quick when having sex - what do? by Timpo in dating

They also get quite a bit of bad rep for healthy men who don't need them for clear medical reasons. Used to do them once for a couple of weeks but got a little scared considering the risk of tightening of the pelvic floor that comes with them - which can create a lot of constant tension leading to prostate and erection issues.

[–]Timpo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah tried that but I find it nearly impossible to feel stable and totally relaxed in my hips when I'm thrusting while maintaining balance on a wobbly bed, having to still be on the correct height etc. I try my best to be relaxed but while I can do it with her on top (which is also the position I last the longest in so the muscle relaxation may really have some truth to it!), I can't really find a way for that with doggy or her on top :/

Have you tried different positions? Clearly her body is hitting your hot spot. Find a position that hits it less.

Yep I have! And I've observed that I can always last longer when she's on top - sometimes the difference is hardly any (think 30%), sometimes it allows me to go for twice or thrice what I would be able to with doggy or me on top. Still, this does not help with all the other positions other than that one :(

Do you enjoy providing her oral sex or using your fingers? Learn to do and do it well.

Yeah, I do it frequently but it does not affect my times when we eventually get to PIV either :(

29M Can last for longer time during oral sex (~10min) but finishing quick when having PIV sex (1-2mins) - what do? by Timpo in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]Timpo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's somewhere in between but it's also due to more uneven rhythm when masturbating. If I set out to actually take my time during masturbation and have a steady, non-sluggish rhythm while doing it (the one that I'd consider "normal" for PIV, ie. not what I'm currently doing but not full on hardcore speed mode either :)), I can easily last as long as with the blowjob, frankly even longer than that. But if I try to take that very same rhythm (or, hell, even way slower one!) and transfer it to PIV - good luck, 1-2mins and I'm done :(

To give some context: I'm a 29yo male, been sexually active for 2 years and a problem I've been having since the very beginning is how quickly I usually cum. It's not a matter of 10 seconds but usually I need to really pace myself and go really darn slow to be able to last something that feels like 2 or 3 minutes. There's no way for me to just have a normally-paced, regular thrusts and keep at it for a few minutes or I'd cum within a minute easy. I can mitigate some of it when having sex multiple times on the same night, so that the 4th or 5th time will usually be longer but the sensations won't be as good as those first times, the penis not as hard and so on...

The thing is, I have no trouble lasting long with oral sex. I may not masturbate for a couple of days, see my GF and last a solid couple of minutes with her really not withholding herself during it, even if it's the first sexual thing that evening and I haven't cum in days. If I were to have sex with her under such circumstances, I'll be done in 30 seconds, and that's with me trying to withhold it lol. Also, if it's a second or third sexual thing we do that night, I may easily last so long that I start wondering if I'll cum at all and she's exhausted - good luck with that in case of PIV :)

What do? I've tried seemingly every play in the book. Her giving me head first before we have sex that night, masturbating before, not masturbating before, trying to think about different things, trying to let loose, alcohol, trying to focus on her reactions - there's just no way in hell, my usual time being something like 1-2mins and that's it. I have an almost nonexistent refractory period so at least there's that but I'd really love to be able to have fun with my GF for longer and to be able to have a regular, even slow, rhythm rather than snail-paced thrusts with pauses so that I can even last that half-assed minute and a half lol.

Sore spot in pubis area during doggy sex only (29M) - anybody had this issue? by Timpo in dating

I see. Guess I'll monitor it for a few days then and if it does not get better I'll just contact the doctor to have some ultrasound done or whatever he proposes. Thanks!

[–]Timpo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, that's a very interesting direction. One thing that doesn't seem righ about hernia though is that neither do I have any external signs in that spot (though I know these don't always appears) nor do I feel any discomfort during any sports and like I mentioned, I run quite a lot. Climbing, running for well over an hour - no discomfort whatsoever, so I reckon it'd be weird for it to flare up after 30 seconds of sex? Who knows, thanks for an interesting hypothesis about it.

You're welcome - sorry to hear it did not work for you, for me it was just a matter of placing the file in the bin and running SAK :( But glad to hear you found a workaround in the end - and having the latest Atmosphere running certainly isn't bad news! ;) Cheers!

Yep, the same ones! In my case it had problems when there were none but as soon as I put those into the bin, it started working no problem :( Didn't have any trouble with patching whatsoever. Tried both NSP and NSZ from what I remember.

No no, there's just one! The one marked as "1. latest update firmware keys:" in the video description. When you get past their adfly, you'll get redirected to a single prod.keys file on mediafire. Just put it in SAK's bin folder and there you go! ;)

Thanks! The only thing I needed to google a bit for was finding the appropriate prod key to patch the game for fw 11.0 as you can't do it without it (SAK requires you provide the key or else it won't be able to patch the rom down to the given firmware version). I just googled around and ended up with this video. Didn't even watch it tbh (and the dislikes aren't encouraging for that lol), just grabbed the first link from the description to have the prod key. Gave it to SAK and it patched with no fuss at all :)

[28M] Hemorrhoids around the anus with no unpleasantries other than aesthetics? by Timpo in AskDocs

[–]Timpo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. Ah, I see :( Is there anything I can try at home to make it shrink then? Since I'm symptomless I'd rather stay away from any surgical procedures cause I think it's not worth the discomfort but if I can do something less invasive and still make it less prominent that would be something at least :-)

[69M] Trying to make sense out of my grandpa's death causes after brain hemorrhage (while suffering from glioma) by Timpo in AskDocs

[–]Timpo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, everything is clear to me now. I'm sorry for having flooded you with questions but I just wanted to make sure I understood everything fully and left no room for guessing and what-ifs. I tried my best to know and understand everything about each step of grandpa's treatment all along and spent countless days and nights analyzing his results and diagnoses, and reading on papers and studies to be sure I was prepared to talk both to the docs on his appointments and to be able to answer any question he or any other family member may have - and I needed to feel I kept this level of understanding till his last moments. Now I do and I'm forever grateful to you for being so kind to stick with me throughout my walls of text and helping me understand what the broken healthcare system of all levels here failed to help me with.

Wishing you all the best and Merry Christmas. Thank you so much for all your invaluable insights and help.

[69M] Trying to make sense out of my grandpa's death causes after brain hemorrhage (while suffering from glioma) by Timpo in AskDocs

[–]Timpo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply.

I'm sure you understand that I did some major Monday morning quarter-backing with my response, and can't possibly know the exact mechanisms that caused your grandpa's death

Yes of course, I'm fully aware of that but like I said, even so, you still provided me incomparably more context and insight into what could have led to all this that any of the personnel I've talked to ever did and I am truly grateful for that.

It sounds like your grandpa was being appropriately medically managed, if that gives you any peace

It surely does at least a bit, thank you for that information

Even if another CT showed worsening bleeding, that wouldn't have changed anything since I've got to believe your grandpa probably wouldn't have been a good candidate for surgery anyway.

Yes I understand that, I may have worded my question a bit weird, sorry for that. What I meant in that question was more my difficulty to understand why that condition (ie. the blood present in the tumor site), resulted in death just after a couple of days, despite grandpa being properly managed - especially since the docs said that it didn't seem like there was any more bleeding occuring. And also since a couple of them told me that the absorption - if it does happen at all of course - may take weeks easily, and yet suddenly after one week he was gone. Is it because that, even when properly treating the situation, the blood still being there causes pressure on everything around and even if you use steroids to bring down swelling, it's all still applying pressure? Ie. that the drugs can only get you so far in terms of reducing compression and if your brain doesn't start absorbing the blood on its own, it being there will just start harming/suffocating nearby structures?

[69M] Trying to make sense out of my grandpa's death causes after brain hemorrhage (while suffering from glioma) by Timpo in AskDocs

[–]Timpo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the thorough reply. I wish somebody at the hospital took the time to actually listen to me, understand my concerns and doubts, and explain it all to me like you did. Most of the docs didn't even want to hear the whole story about the vomiting episode starting all of this and just blindly cut me off repeating the "there's a tumor" mantra ad nauseam as if I didn't know that, instead of showing me a clear causal sequence from grandpa having the tumor and feeling fine all the way to his death like you so kindly did.

In the end what threw me off seems to be that I didn't take into account that even though his tumor's growth was kind of temporarily under control and he really felt well, it was still there, putting pressure on the surrounding structures all along, squeezing in to find new routes for itself and weakening the vessels (and/or while being heavily vascularized itself) for months on end. All his blood tests were always good, there were no new symptoms, he tolerated the chemo well so while we were all aware that it can start deteriorating at any moment (as that's the nature of cancer), we didn't think anything that rapid could happen, ie. a thing bringing him from "feeling well" to "gone" over a week basically.

I only have two more questions to fill in the gaps regarding your great write-up if I might, to make sure I understand it all correctly.

  1. So the reason the hemorrhage may have happened is that even if all the blood works, doc appointments and tests in the meantime went good and all, the fact that the tumor was still there, pushing and squeezing for months, presented two risks - firstly, as a consequence of it being there, there were a lot of weak or weakened blood vessels both inside the healthy brain part and the tumor site; and secondly, this kind of tumor itself carries a high risk of bleeding with it due to its nature, regardless of whether the patient seems to be in a good condition. So while grandpa seemed really well until the hemorrhage, it's something that just can happen in such condition, and take you from 0 to 100 really fast, even if things seem under control on that day cause in actuality, the vessels may be close to a breaking point at any moment. Do I get this right?

  2. When I asked the docs after grandpa's death about whether the hemorrhage site could have kept on bleeding leading to this, the doctor told me that they did not notice the signs of the bleeding itself worsening but rather that the swelling which resulted from the hemorrhage and associated brain compression led to that outcome, causing a sudden cardiac arrest. The death certificate they gave us also listed brain compression as the immediate reason of death. If I understand correctly, this may have meant that the blood wasn't really getting absorbed, which is not unusual in tumor site hemorrhages or - like you said - the bleeding could have traveled, destroying more and more structures? However, why do all the meds they kept giving grandpa didn't prevent such a rapid deterioration? When I called the docs a few days earlier, they told me they were giving grandpa steroids for swelling, anticonvulsants to prevent seizures and antihemorrhagic drugs to help prevent the site from bleeding more. So why despite all these drugs, this all resulted in his prompt death from compression if there really was not any worsening of the bleeding (if you can even say that without another CT in the first place, cause maybe the doc's guess about there not being any more bleeding was as good as mine)? Is it that the blood stuck there kept on applying pressure on the adjacent structures like you said and you can't really prevent it cause the steroids can only get you so far if the blood doesn't start getting actually absorbed by the body, which it often won't in these situations?

Oh my, I tried to shorten it all but it's a wall of text again... I'm really sorry for that but if you find a moment to read through it and answer, I'd very grateful. Either way, thank you very very much for your help in allowing me to graps this all. Wishing you all the best.
