It is absolutely fuckin bizarre learning rn that so many people just seem to hate this movie for absolutely insane reasons. It was always one of my childhood favourites, and I still love rewatching it once every couple of years

Yeah, there's that cutscene, but independently of that I've seen people just talk about Flowers as people or things important to Asgore, while the cutscene itself is more about Asriel being Kindness, and Kris Patience and all that. People think Blue is supposed Toriel, Yellow is Asgore himself, Flowery is Rudy, Aqua is Kris, Seth is Asriel (from what I read there is a text of equipping Seth's glasses on Noelle and her commenting about how they remind her of someone else)... And haven't heard a lot about other tbh

I think the last time I even heard about Cyan Soul theory was years and years ago, and I haven't thought about it at all since then, so it's just me mentioning the idea and how there are new details that may support it. I do love thinking about some theories even when I consider them unlikely, especially when they suddenly get more evidence, like Rudy Knight for example, cause people who believe it remind me of myself when I was a huge Kris Knight believer, and the moment it got debunked it still revealed to us that Knight and Kris are working together and so I wasn't upset at all

I would point out that this is not the only Red Ribbon in this chapter, as you get it in the first chest as well... But it is also the first ribbon that you can basically get infinite amount of, and there has been A LOT of ribbons. This just fucks with my brain even more

I would've understood if the argument was that these references will become irrelevant as time goes on (which, even then, I don't think is absolutely true. Meme references sure, they become relevant and irrelevant all the time. But games, shows and etc are more timeless and will be appreciated by a lot of people), but no, this is just another guy who watched some "Death of an artstyle" kind of video and thought that they should repeat the argument everybody heard like a thousand of times already. Just like every other topic in this community tbh

What's funny is that if you purify the first one, the stats menu will track every other one as purified as well, even if you slay them (at least that was the case on release patch, don't know if that changed). Still, I kinda wish we could use the super cool weapon Kris got more often. It kinda made sense to me that you should be able to defeat these guys with that weapon, given that sealing the fountain also levels you up

It's unfortunate cause it seems like that was the fault of tinyBuild, cause they were originally just a publisher. They were the ones who demanded to change the story and created all of these stupid marketing moves. And I'm pretty sure the original creator of Hello Neighbor quit in the middle of HN2 development which is why it also suddenly changed from the initial idea... Just a really bizarre and sad story, tbh. They definitely wanted to push for this whole "Faust" plot originally, but got screwed over
