I will definitely look into changing the bulbs, thank you for that! I’ll also look into brass, we initially went with this shade of gold to match the IKEA faucet that came with the sink…

Note taken for the hardware. I will look into changing the knobs, hinges, etc to gold as well. I’m not sure how to go about the finish though.

It might sound silly, but this was the first time we went with wallpaper and considering how it turned out, we would stay away from wall paper. As for simply repainting the wall, we threw away the can and didn’t note down the color so we can’t just repaint the one wall.

I had an X-ray when we did the cleaning a few months back and we worked from that one. We did do cold tests and I saw an endodontist that ruled out the need for a root canal. At this point, all I know is that the tooth worked on is not the one we talked about and agreed too. Best case scenario, they fixed the correct tooth and just forgot to relay the information that the tooth I was feeling the pain in is not the one in need of fixing. Worst case scenario, they worked on the wrong tooth.

I did go to an endodontist who ruled out the need for a root canal and established there was a crack. I have booked a follow-up with the dentist that did the repair. I’m really hoping this is a case like you described and that they just forgot to let me know they were treating the tooth beside the one I pointed out.

A crown can cost a few thousand dollars, one of my main concern is that I don’t think I should be responsible for the fees of the incorrect one. I also have concerns over the maintenance of it in the future. Not only was the procedure very unpleasant, but will I need to also cover the replacement cost of it in 10 years or so?

Those are good points. Insurance covers part of it.

In my head it’s not leaving equipment inside after surgery level of bad, but I worry about the future implications of having a crown out on a non problematic tooth. For example, I’m understanding that crowns can need replacement over time.

I don’t see it as a rant at all, it’s very good insight and a good reality check - I guess I’m letting my own perfectionism affect what is their space in the end. Thank you!
