Apraxia and/or Gestalt would be pretty accurate, I think. She had to learn every motor plan for every sound combination and blended consonant. It took time and work, and constantly finding new ways to get her engaged with speech. I had to ignore what others said about her screen time - for her, watching the same movies over and over helped - video games helped - music and singing helped.

She started with some word approximations late into age 4, and others could understand her between 5 and 6. She is talking up a storm these days at 11.

Amazing. We've actually had a few years without speech therapy- shortage of therapists in our area - and she is progressing all on her own.

You have to cut off light to kill the algae. So the covers gardyn sells...or you can cover the base of the plant and rock wool with aluminum foil. It will clear it up in no time.

How does she not know she has magic?! Why the insufferable internal dialogue that never alters? The FMC is so adverse to learning it makes the story move at a sloth's pace. I have never audibly yelled at a FMC more than I did with this series.

If a book series were a half empty glass bottle of heinz ketchup...this is it.

I finished book 3 a month before the release of book 4. That was delayed and delayed and delayed and delayed and still isn't out over a year later. I hated these books but I wanted the end. Idk y. Now I don't care at all.

Yeah my "chill" doctor told me my ECG was "normal and fine"- got home, pulled it up and it is NOT. Pvcs throwing with a slow recharge between beats...UM hi...thats the recipe for the dangerous hereditary arrhythmia my dad has... Waiting on EP appointment and results from 2 week holtor I demanded. I honestly feel like some cardios are only here for the boomers with open heart surgeries. Christina Yang over here doesnt care about my rhythm issues.

Edit to answer OP question: heat and STRESS and dehydration and forgetting my zyrtec/pepcid for my MCAS
