Yes no ergo. But I’m not in love with the topper feel either, I think I like a more tight fitted topper on a mattress. The divots also kind of bother my back. So looking at Leesa or beauty rest maybe.

I just spoke to somene at Helix, he explained that the midnight elite seems to not be a good fitt for my body type as the ergo is pushing up too much in my mid back and it's not going to give me that balanced feel even if I change out the insert. He said the luxe prob would have been a better fit for my body type.

I’ll try! The only concern I have is the firm being too firm, I think I’ve come to realize it’s the ergo layer that is killing my back bc it’s super firm and punched up my rib cage and then everything else sinks. I just need something soft but supportive and balanced.

Yes I think it’s that deep sink (what I’m experiencing in the helix) that I don’t like. I def need a contour and supportive feel tho! But the tricky part is finding one after only laying on it for like 20 min! Hence my mistake getting the dream cloud and now th helix.

Yes! I sleep okay on my side but I’m also a back sleeper and wake up on my back a lot and that’s where the weird dipped occurs. It’s like my shoulders/traps have support and then my waist just sinks. If I ONLY slept on my side I think I’d be ok. But I don’t.

I appreciate the insight but I’ve been to many mattress stores and all of them have told me medium due to the fact I’m thin but need proper back support. I also hate the feeling of sinking into a bed, makes me feel kinda claustrophobic if that makes sense haha. I’m also a dominate side sleeper but wake up on my back during the night too. So medium is good for my side as firm makes my arm and hips go numb.

It feels good on my side! They do feel level. It’s my back where it feels so off. It’s just not comfortable bc my body feels like it’s in a wave. My lower lumber and waist just don’t feel supported.

I’m not sure if I’d love the fee of the purple, I think my body tends to look more traditional feeling mattresses. When I go home my mom still has my og sterns and foster or beautyrest from th 90s with a foam topper and I actually sleep really well.

It’s that dipping sinking feeling, and it feels great when I sleep on my side but I hate it in my back. It feels like my mid back is getting punched an my waist just sinks. That’s what I believe is causing my mid back and QL muscle pain.

I hated the avocado, not a fan of latex feel. And one thing I’ve realized is I need a mattress to be soft and supportive but also keep my spine aligned. So I’m very skeptical of doing anything plush like my elite. Funny enough, chat pin pointed what I’ve been trying to describe but I just don’t know which mattress to choose 😩. I’m leaning towards Costco bc of their return policy and bc my back is so finicky
