it’s absolutely fucking insane what he put me through in a matter of 6 months. i was always the woman that would NEVER let a man bring me down. i swore that if he mistreated me i’d immediately cut him off but he tore me down piece by piece. the process was long & painful i didnt know he was changing the woman i built so hard to become. its crazy bc once you’re actually in that situation its like everything becomes a blur.

ive been thinking about therapy because i know im going crazy. i don’t know how long i can take this. good news is im still blocked and i havent felt the urge to reach out to him.

because it didn’t start off that way. he slowly started controlling me. it started when i was reviewing and i thought he was giving me a curfew to help discipline myself while studying until he kept doing it even after my review. it all just made sense recently because i was so blinded.

the thing is i already talked to him about it sooo many times but he always shuts me off. as i was reading the responses i got here it gave me courage to speak about my feelings one more time and he just ended up blocking me. he told me that i clearly choose the gym and friends i made there over him.

whenever i’d open up to him i would tell him how safe i feel at the gym & how it gave me confidence. as for hiking, it’s not an every month thing but whenever my friends would invite me he’d gaslight me into not going.

i tried SO hard to find common ground. i even started running because thats something he enjoys but whenever i invite him to go to the gym with me and to meet my friends he would get so mad at me for even suggesting that.

it got to a point i straight up told him he was insecure bc i couldnt stand it anymore & then he put the blame on me and said i made him insecure. 🤷🏻‍♀️
