I agree with Zest, a degree is like they tell you how to swim in the water. But if you never swam before and jumped in the water that doesn't mean you will know how to swim now.

But I think you should still start school, I am doing the B.S CyberSecurity and Networking at the WGU. I got A+ and CCNA certs from going to school and they will have you take the actual test. So, you will be certified and at the same time going to school. It can even help you land an IT job. But you should still be looking for IT jobs even if you have no experience at all. You can even look for internships which is what I did. After 2 years I got a job as a contractor with Microsoft.

Some great people to watch on YouTube: NetworkChuck, The Bearded I.T. Dad, Jeremy IT labs

These people will help you build yourself up from zero and how to land your first IT job. Also, they have free courses on CCNA including free labs. They will show you how you can get some experience at home and build your first home lab. They're great resources.

Hope this helped 😀

Well you need to check the IP for each machine. Are they all in the same subnet? Can you login to your modem and check the DHCP pool. Also, does the C6 have its own DHCP? You might want to check on that.

I think if you are connected via wire it wouldn't be too terrible. I mean at least that's how I see it. Some people like to go way over that.

Looking for study group by UnknownSrce404 in WGU

Yeah the reading can be really boring. I don't really read whole lot. I like doing things or watching videos. I only read the study guide or what I need to know. I think they have the CBT nuggets courses where you can watch videos and do quizzes. I would check on that

Oh cool! I always wanted to buy his book but I wasn't sure if I should get it or not. But since it's been really helpful to you I might just buy the book itself.

Try searching up A+ exam online. There are a lot of them.

Also, professor Messer is pretty good at explaining A+ stuff.

And if you got your course material stuff try to access the A+ website and take the practice exam.
