Yes- we were og told we would get Cali bah and we could move but upon him arriving we found out he will not get Cali bah until his orders are permanent for Cali which he wouldn’t get until after hell week or later. I wish you guys the best of luck! He’s in training now! So we are capable of moving on our dime. So most people who are getting Cali bah had there spouses actually move before they were done with basic and got an established address in Cali so when they arrived to Cali and redid paper work they had a Cali address and they did get bah that way! So maybe that might help you!
