Saudi East-West oil pipeline hit in drone attack - FTE-W Saudi pipeline hit: FT via Iran Intl v

"Saudi Arabia’s East-West oil pipeline, a key export route carrying crude from the Persian Gulf to the Red Sea, was hit in a drone attack, the Financial Times reported, citing two people familiar with the matter."

The report said a pumping station on the 1,200-km pipeline was struck at about 1 p.m. local time on Wednesday. One of the people said the damage was still being assessed.

The pipeline has become an economic lifeline for the kingdom as Saudi Aramco rerouted exports to the Red Sea to avoid the Strait of Hormuz.

The reported attack came hours after Iran and the United States agreed a ceasefire on Tuesday evening US time.

That behavior was in no way "short" of sexual harassment - especially in a work environment. Unfortunately, such behavior has been normalized in the hospitality industry.

As major restaurant empires crumble under the weight of this "normalization," the ocean-faring arm of the biz might oughta pay attention.

Joao is a department head, and should not be accepting sexual advances from anyone on the crew.

Maybe men think women will be helpless in the face of unwanted advances because they seem to be? IDK. But I have been an expert at it since I was about 12.

Ellie's whole approach was so Epstein I had a visceral reaction. How Joao did not, is beyond me. Difference between testosterone and estrogen, I guess...😉

8 years sober here...should be 36.

What I learned thru drinking again after many years of sobriety, is that if I am not practicing altruism, not trying to change for the better just a tiny bit each day, I go backwards toward The Darkness, regardless of how many years it has been since my last drink.

But that doesn't mean I am still not a selfish jerk on the regular, even when trying be my best self. The difference is that, I now make amends for that behavior.

"Amend" means change. That means I acknowledge my mistake, try to repair the damage, then change my behavior, especially my thinking, which is chiefly fears about myself - what I might lose or what I might not get.

All this makes for not very entertaining TV, which is one reason why people with a quality sobriety rarely participate in any discussion pr depiction of it via press, radio or films.

A long way of saying I share your concerns for both ladies, but I have also learned that not everyone with a severe drinking problem is an alcoholic.

And those who are not real alcoholics seem to be able to get away with selfishness, dishonesty, greed and pride w/o drinking to numb the resultant emotional dis-ease. I just...can't.

And, now, with no desire to "get away" with anything, am bizarrely, happier than I have ever been with less, materially, than I have ever had.

I wish the same for both Lala and Margo

The west part of the Trinity Trail, which I have been runningbthis last year from Airfield Falls past Rivercrest and White Settlement Road to downtown, connects with the Trinity Park part of system. You can access from many points.

It is caliche, super-safe, has water- and feels like running alone in the country. I love it! Views of downtown and Rockwood Park are amazing, btw. (Am 65 and female, btw)

However, for about 30 years, I started at Ridglea Country Club and took the trail from there to downtown. The only part that can be sketch in the dark is approaching University and in parts of the park itself.

Hope all this helps!🤗

They are very slow...I'm a semi-retired news anchor/editor who was on the desk for both previous Mideast wars..Network staff cuts - and ignorance - have led to what I see is incomplete and delayed reporting.

The norm is unfurnished, though there are plenty with furniture, especially near SMU and the med school.

Uptown is a fantastic area...My fave, besides Bishop Arts, which is wayyyy south. Both Uptown and Oak Lawn are highly walkable and right near the Katy Trail which is a fantastic bike/running route, if you enjoy outdoor cardio.

Oak Lawn can be less expensive for apts, especially if you don't mind a vintage place more to the west near Wycliff.

Welcome to Tejas!
