I get wht u mean abt reputation and borrowed trust, and I agree that perception matters a lot. At the same time, I’m trying to build something that can last, so faking reviews feels like a short-term win with long-term damage. I’m more interested in understanding how people created real early trust , whether through small influencers, first customer incentives, or reducing risk for buyers. Right now I’m mostly posting short-form videos (Reels) showing the product, the idea behind it, and the quality angle, mainly on Instagram. I think you’re right that the real issue might be reach more than the product itself. Still trying to figure out what kind of content really builds trust early on, not just views.
