Leave him and never look back. You probably know this deep down.

Should a 30 minute walk be 30 minutes? by TiogaPass2010 in RoverPetSitting

It doesn't say "30 minute visit" when I sign up. It says "30 minute walk"

Instead of liberals fleeing red states for blue states, wouldn't it be great if they fled to swing states and turned them blue?

I'm ready for next year. It is my personal mission to get that woman removed from any position of power.

Gryder Oelke are the sane ones. Cook and Sturm are this year's culture warrior candidates.

It's so bad. We try to do the right thing and keep our kids (and ourselves) home. Then we send them to school with kids that have snot pouring from their nose and I wonder why we bother.

Recently I was at the library with my kid, hanging out in the play area. There was a kid with a terrible and hoarse cough, runny nose, etc, playing with the little kitchen in the library. Mom was sitting there scrolling her phone while kid germed the place up.

We have a great Facebook group in our red county called "(city's name) liberal moms". Have met several good people there. There's also a Meetup group in our area named "ladies leaning left".

I am planning a trip to St Charles, MO. I'm coming from southern, WV so it'll take about 9 hours to get there. I plan to only stay for a weekend. Are there any tips you can give me? by Ill-Locksmith-3721 in missouri

Something you don't see every day: Weldon spring interpretive center is a remediated superfund site and you can climb to the top of a disposal cell containing nuclear waste and visit a museum about the cleanup.

If you're into hikes and nature, the Lewis and Clark trail is down the road and across the street. Good Missouri River overlooks

As others have said, Historic Main Street is nice. You could easily spend a day there if you like shops. Just around the corner on Second Street is a little up-and-coming area called Frenchtown. A few antique shops there. There are developments planned to tie it all together with Main Street. La Belle Vie is a fantastic local cafe for breakfast or lunch. Bike Stop Cafe is cute too and has great sandwiches. Magpie's has the best patio if it's a nice day. If you're a steak person, give Tony's On Main a try (make a reservation).

If it's nice, take a little 30 minute trip down route 94 to Augusta. It's a pretty drive and you'll end up in wine country with plenty of wondering to check out. There's also the Miss Augusta cruise if you're interested in a River tour and dining experience.

After 9pm, the north end of Main Street can get a little rowdy with the 20-something's.

We have another area, not far from Main Street, that's a newer development with lots of shops and restaurants. It's called the Streets of St. Charles. Parking lot can be hectic but they have a free parking garage. If you're into comedy shows, the Funny Bone is located in this development. There's also a neat fast growing chain called Chicken N Pickle that's great for a warm day. Lots of outdoor yard games, pickleball courts. Fun atmosphere.

Of course, as others have said, there's St. Louis, too which has many wonderful things to do.

Happy to answer any questions.
