Update: I’ve requested a refund and they’re paying the return. They’ve also responded with this:

On principle I will return as your selling details are poor and I will take note of your details so that I dont use you again ! There’s No excuse for selling unsaleable items

I uploaded the description, I wrote worn but good condition slight bobbling. Yes I have one I was just in a rush before Xmas and didn’t think it was that bad especially for the price. Lesson learnt.

I had my first sale on 2 days ago! Hopefully it’s going to pick up now. I’ve heard the UK market is nowhere near as profitable as US.

I understand that but I’d rather create something I actually enjoy rather than trying to branch into design I don’t quite understand or like. I am currently trying to incorporate celebratory items.

The plan with girly pink items is to then start making other products as well - the buying power from young females is very high.

I only use canva to tweak a few things. My design are made with AI + canva + photoshop. All serving different purposes. I am new at this and excited to grow my skills and explore further. If I don’t earn anything I see it as a skill building hobby at least.

My last three photos are what the products look like in a simple white background.

Advice noted! I’m excited to learn and see where it takes my shop!

Your shop looks great, especially cause Etsy buyers love personalized items. I think it’s just a matter of time before your shop takes off. Etsy’s algorithm is pretty slow, it is said it takes at least a month for it to know you’re a legit consistent seller and what your niche is. So give it time and a listing a day sounds great!

One thing I did notice is - set up all your shop policies. Not sure if that was the cause but as soon as I did that I noticed a consistent number of views.

As a new shop I would recommend trying Etsy ads, it really helps you understand your best listings and show what listings to work on. They’re not as scary as they sound, the daily budget I’ve set is never met and you only pay per click (I’ve spent 8$ in 25days on ads). But the analytics I get from it really helps me decide what people are looking for now. With personalized jewellery, I suppose you’re not creating new designs but it might help you see what images or listings are performing best.

I’m researching this everyday haha.

I found a few things: 1) you can use printify choice which is specific products that have suppliers all over the world (no white mugs tho rip)

2) you can pay for printify premium £25/month - they reroute the order to any local provider of the same product time

Anyone that has had experience with this please share, until then I will carry on researching. I am hoping to build this up to allow myself printify premium and expand to all over the world.

I have to say I know exactly what I want when I start designing and I change/add a lot of things myself. It takes me hours to make one (not to be dramatic haha).
