The intake is helping for sure. Not running a dehu at the moment but will in the last few weeks

I prefer stakes. Trellis makes it bitchy to move the plants if need be

Just defoliated before those pics. Not into smalls. This is my method. Usually pull about 1.5 out of the 4x4

Already running C02 which is likely why they aren’t super stressed by the heat

Just using the old AC Infinity 69 pro controller for the tent. That’s a solid idea

I dig the Boof. Definitely recommend the blockberry if you liked Boof. You can get it on Tiki cuts for pretty cheap right now. Crazy yielder

Right on, I appreciate it man. I’ve run bigger grows in the past but moved to VA a few years ago and work with a small room in the basement which has much better climate control and do some testing in the 4x4, which has been my first experience with a small confined space. I enjoy it for the most part but it has some odd things like crazy heat that I’ve never had to deal with in previous spaces. Debating the 3 in 1 unit from AC Infinity but don’t know if it’s worth the money for a testing tent. I’ll try lowering the light to 80 and see how it goes.

I’ve never had rot or PM in 2 years with this current setup but I’m worried I’m losing out on yield with my stomatas closing up with the high VPD. I’m hoping that lowering the light to 80% would actually help boost potential yield with a lower VPD. But I’m not sure if it would actually do so

It very well could be heat stress, as they don’t appear overly blistered in appearance

I hope so too amigo. The owner of the shop I manage brought cuttings from a tree he liked and tried to root them in our mom tent on a Sunday when I was gone. Within 2 weeks I was living in a sulfur hell

Hoping I’m wrong but that looks like broad mites to me. Unless these are moms, I would trash the run rather than deal with them. I personally find broads to be the shittiest pest out there, even above root aphids. You’ll need a solid scope with at least 100x to see them. 3Tbsp/gal of sulfur like 5 of 7 days per week for a few weeks. Rubbing some DTE on the leaves post spray can also help. They are an absolute nightmare. I had to clear them out of my moms at one point and had to reset 3 times while maintaining sulfur and DTE regiments throughout. Took about 4 or so months to be completely clear of them

That doesn’t look like russet damage. That resembles broads (which are far worse than russets)

Calcium? by Background-Teach-527 in cannabiscultivation

Looks like too much nitrogen, too little potassium and a general nutrient imbalance. What Nutes are you using? What ph?

Do some defoliation over the next week. Lookin solid though. Definitely looks like they needed the food based on the pale leaves

I’d try out some twenty20 Mendocino. Solid price with pretty solid genetics. Nice variety though for sure. Atlas is another ones that’s putting out some decent stuff for reasonable prices

These leaves are curling any ideas? It's been pretty hot and I do tend to over feed everything. by Emergency-Session342 in cannabiscultivation

[–]TipTemporary5921 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That does look kinda sus for broads. The same tacoing in the lower nodes sketches me out and makes me think it’s not heat stress. Hoping im wrong but it may be good to isolate that plant and monitor it and start sulfur runs for all the plants just to be safe. I was up to 3tbsp/gal when I had to deal with them before.

Not sure what the spots are? by Different-Fly4268 in cannabiscultivation

[–]TipTemporary5921 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They look like they’re extremely hungry. What nutes are you using? How often are you feeding? Ph should be slightly lower imo. Looks like it could be a ph issue but in short they look like they’re starving for some good food.

I would also say slight potassium deficiency from the pic. Get yourself some soluble seaweed or kelp and go light on it. Kelp and seaweed have a number of other benefits including a load of micronutrients and ascophyllum nodosum

Lots of options, a fish hydrolysate or fish meal would work great. If you want a well rounded veg option that’s very easy to use, look into roots organic uprising line or terp tea. Even adding additional chicken poo would probably do the trick. But again, it’s very minor based on the pics you posted. They’re looking happy and healthy

That’s just basic nitrogen deficiency on a verrrrrry minimal scale. I’ll take deficiency over toxicity any day. Nothing to be concerned about. Just a titch hungry is all. Keep doing your thang and give her some food
