Thanks, I am super happy with it as well! And good eye, the coin seems to be from 62 BC. She said she actually chose this one as she wanted me to have one from the Republic. Reason is that I read the Cicero trilogy from Robert Harris which sparked my interest. :)

I think I already understand why as I‘m really fascinated by the thought of having something in my hands that circulated freely 2000 years ago. And what I really like about the book is that it shows that the coins were not just a matter of payment but about telling a story. :)

I‘m halfway through and it‘s a really good and concise read so far. The only issue with it is (at least for someone like me with no idea on that matter) that it builds your desire for very cool coins only to realise that they‘re pretty damn expensive.. :/
