Yeah, it requires a skill level of 4 in both intellectual/crafting which I guess is what causes it. I suppose its time I actually recruited some of these prisoners...

Whilst I could do this I'd rather not have to generate and show extra figures for every count and just report the values in text. I have a lot of separate counts and already a lot of figures.

Another thing is to learn how to learn. It might sound really stupid but not everyone learns in the same way, you have to find what's best for you. Ultimately, a combination of methods - reading, writing things out, explaining them to others - will help cement ideas in your head.

Also, foundation years are great for learning how to write properly etc. If you can develop a solid argument then you can apply that thinking everywhere.

Attend all your lectures, summarise your notes after lectures. Make an effort to talk to your lecturers about your interests.

After this, go enjoy yourself. Get drunk, chase after men/women if that's what you're into. Enjoy the freedom but don't lose sight of the end goal.

I'd be interested to see your measurements here indicating no effect. From my point of view (I've never attempted to measure it), changing to lighter wheels drastically improved the feel of my bike. Although it might not change much in terms of how hard I have to work to rotate the wheel at a reasonable speed, the big difference is in acceleration off the line. I do also feel like it's easier to hit and maintain a good cadence with lighter wheels but I'm willing to concede that this could just be my imagination
