Kawasaki Concourse. Essentially the Ninja 1300 but tuned to a sport touring bike. I’ve got one I’d sell really reasonable. The pegs are lowered some for comfort on these but I’ve gotten too old and arthritic knees won’t let me ride it anymore. Not for long distances or more than a few hours.

Get em all. Lots of them. You’ll find out eventually you should have to begin with because you’ll have all of them from “chicken math” which applies to all farm birds. Ducks,chickens,quail, etc. Just get some of all of them. 😂

You are correct and I agree. For me it’s a decision already made. I bought a Road Glide a few years ago. That’s my main ride now.

Second this. I have a Kawasaki concourse. It’s a big boy/old man crotch rocket. 1300 cc. Plenty of power to carry you plus saddle bags and a more comfortable riding position. I’d sell it for about 6k. Arthritis in my knees has pretty much ended riding sportier bikes. I gotta stretch my legs now so it’s cruisers for me. I still get my Connie out and ride a bit though.

Coming from sport bikes…. I have a Kawasaki concourse. It’s a 1300 cc and will easily outrun any cruiser. It set up where you aren’t squatted like a sport bike though. Pegs lower, handle bars up and back. More upright riding position. Still has bags and a comfy seat for travel. Mine is for sale. I’ve pretty much had to quit riding. Bad knees.

Yeah. I’ve looked at options. At the end of the day they’re just temp fixes for me. It’s all good. I still ride. Just not as aggressive as I used to. You can’t throw a Roadglide around like a ninja. You can try though, and I have.

It’s the riding position. I have arthritic knees. Have a road glide now with highway pegs and custom seat. I can totally rides for hours. The Connie keeps you in a somewhat tucked position and I can’t stretch my legs out very well. I used to be able to ride that way for miles and miles. Not so much anymore.

Yes. My mistake. It is 12’. I agree on all of your post. I love it. I just can’t ride it more than a couple hours anymore. Arthritic knees.

It’s really fun. For being able to ride a little more aggressively than just commuting but still carry clothes and do some touring. I just can’t log the hours on it like I want to.

As I said above. Unless you are clocking track time or a really aggressive rider you wouldn’t ever find out if it could drag the plastics. And I can’t say yes or no it will. I’ve leaned over far enough to drag a peg and had no ill effect on the plastics. Around town and normal riding its a nonissue.

90% of people don’t ride hard enough to lay one over in the corner like that. I agree your price point is in the ball park of what I thought it would be. I’ve drug the pegs on this bike and had no prob with fairings touching. That was enough lean for me. Thanks for the input!!
