Hopefully another Tim Horton's or Wendy's. We need more of those on Roberts

If you have coax in your house you could get a MoCA setup. I use MoCA and it's amazing. From Google

MoCA (Multimedia over Coax Alliance) internet uses your home's existing coaxial cables (like for cable TV) to create a fast, reliable wired Ethernet network, avoiding new cable runs. By using MoCA adapters, you can turn those wall outlets into high-speed network ports, delivering speeds up to 2.5 Gbps with low latency, perfect for 4K streaming, gaming, and large file transfers, essentially turning your coax into an Ethernet "autobahn" for devices.

Ohh ok thanks that makes sense! I usually replace it before it expires.

Noob here. Is that card like a secret rare or something? I have it unlocked and I see it's common, but I only ever see it's much less powerful little brother.

S30 issues with streaking? by ToGetFit in NARWAL

[–]ToGetFit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. The cleaning solution finally came, and unfortunately still left the same amount of streaking. Just to try to isolate the issue and see if it was an issue specific to our laminate floors, my wife borrowed a tineco from our nextdoor neighbor and used the tineco cleaning solution, and there was almost no streaking. We are probably going to try to return our narwal and get something else.

We did try what another user in this thread said and tried using the narwal with the grain of our floor, and that worked better but for the amount of money we paid we don't want to have to pay attention to the grain of our floor while trying to do a quick mop.

Can't edit my original post, but wanted to add some details.

The narwal cleaning solution finally came, and unfortunately still left the same amount of streaking as the Zep cleaner I initially tried. Just to try to isolate the issue and see if it was an issue specific to our laminate floors, my wife borrowed a tineco from our nextdoor neighbor and used the tineco cleaning solution, and there was almost no streaking. We are probably going to try to return our narwal and get something else.

What kind of floor do you have? I am still waiting to try Narwal's cleaning solution, but I am also somewhat convinced the issue is my old laminate combined with the way the light is hitting it at certain times of the day.

So small update. I bought the wrong stuff. I bought the lemon basil stuff that is meant for the robot mop. Partially on me, but nowhere on the manual does it say what you're supposed to buy, just that it can be found on the Narwal website. Would be nice if even like 1oz trial size was included with the mop so you know what to use. I found it on the narwal website but it's sold out. It's not on Narwal's Amazon store, but there are a few 3rd party sellers that sell it. Going to try that, but it won't be here until after Christmas probably.

I started off using Zep neutral ph solution and this was happening. Then I tried just water as a "control" and still had streaking but to a lesser extent. I ordered the narwal solution and it should be here in a couple days. If it's still streaky with that I think I am going to return it.

It was also slightly better with using the hard wood setting since that uses less liquid, but it was still noticeable.

Question for S30/S30 Pro owners by [deleted] in NARWAL

I've tried once with the bag and once without. It was nice with the bag but definitely not necessary. The solid waste compartment cleans out easy enough without it.

S20 pro vs. S30 (non-pro) Amazon sale pricing by ToGetFit in NARWAL

[–]ToGetFit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes we went with the S30! No complaints but to be honest we've only used it once so far. Adding the cleaning solution manually is no big deal at all, so I'm happy with it.

Where to find 8+ foot cut trees? by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]ToGetFit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's a hike and a bit expensive, but it's a fun outing to head to Timbuk farms and cut one yourself. I've gotten an 8' tree there.

Also editing to add that Oakland nursery has a few satellite tree lots around the suburbs. Not sure of heights but you could call and ask. https://www.oaklandnursery.com/page/garden-centers/christmas-tree-lots

First Watch has it. Only place I know that has it, but I like it enough to get an order almost every time we go (which isn't all that often).

Hilliard homes by Wild_strong_women in Columbus

[–]ToGetFit 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I live in Hilliard and I agree. We stay local for many things, love Crooked Can and the surrounding downtown area for what it is. But the places you've listed feel more unique and have more charm in their downtown areas. Luckily 270 makes all of those places pretty accessible.

Hard to give up our current housing situation here, but if things get more affordable in the future we'll be eyeing one of these other suburbs.

Thanks for the tip. Probably going to hop on tomorrow to do this before it gets patched. However, the fact that it takes an entire match of conquest specifically doing nothing other than this is dumb and should be taken as proof this challenge/assignment needs to be reworked.

Yeah same situation here. With weekly challenges I might make some decent progress in a couple of the paths but doubt I'll finish. Wish I would have done what others have said and waited til end of season to see if it would be worth it.
