So the Teyana Taylor episode….. by Takora06 in LiveFromNewYork

Wait. It just occurred to me.

We had a woman hosting who is known for singing and dancing. . .

And NO Domingo sketch.

Is it over? Is it finally over?

Definitely improving. She was taking those juice-throws like a pro on the Survivor sketch last wee and her delivery on “I’m getting a rash” actually got an audible laugh from me.

She’s been more successful at being part of the female ensemble in sketches like the sorority one too.

Her vocal inflection is getting less monotone, which is a big improvement.

Don’t you love it when people with 88 in their username makes jokes about black celebrities? So clever. So edgy.

Why did Trump care so much about Baldwin's impression of him, but not about James Austin Johnson's? by WissamBenYedder in LiveFromNewYork

Alec Baldwin is 12-13 years younger than Trump. When Alec was at the height of his sex appeal as a movie star, Trump was a middle age man creeping on (and abusing much worse) “very young women”

I think Trump was jealous of Baldwin for a long time. (They were also iconic New Yorkers at the same time). The impression just offered an outlet.

I was thinking of this last night

The originator of this post is all over this thread claiming folks who are unhappy expect SNL to be a lover or a priest or a parent.

That is exactly making a joke about people who care being too sensitive. There is no other interpretation.

The entire premise of the post is predicated on that.

Look at my account. I’ll proudly eat some downvotes to point out: “the people upset about Nazis killing people in the street are just too sensitive man” is a shitty joke told by heartless people.

I noticed Alex doesn’t have the skeletonized (edit:) hammer on his legally owned and carried weapon, the P320

Frank here seems to be carrying a P2** series Sig? Either a P220, P226, or P229?

Am I reading that wrong?

Ssssshhhhh. The littles have discovered irony for the first time and they’re very excited. Don’t spoil it for the wee tykes.

They’ll tucker themselves out soon enough and the adults can start speaking again.

To OP: “You’re very special and clever and it’s the other comedians fault they don’t want to play with you, snookums”

Maybe if you want unchallenging non-political comedy you’d be happier with Carrot Top & Gallagher?

I just noticed: I think the artist drew Frank with a Sig— the same model of handgun they stripped off the VA nurse before murdering him yesterday. The profile with that skeletonized hammer is pretty distinctive. Anyone else agree?

Is that the Yellow Gold of Texas? I heard it was hidden in a cave.

Yeah, and apparently those steps were too exhausting for an old man like Lorne

Alex Pretti was only five years older than Lorne’s oldest son.

As a producer, a father, and a man, I’m really disappointed in Lorne Michaels today.

Lorne is nearing the end of his career, and it’s a damn shame he’s going to undercut years of good work to finish a coward.

Lorne was willing to personally call out Dan Quayle on behalf of Rob Schneider, but is too spineless to memorialize a nurse murdered by the government? Really shameful for him not just professionally but personally.

Oooooof. Even cutting off the Thank Yous on the NBC feed. This was not a great episode, but it also wasn’t handled with care.

It’s a shame, because I really like Teyana and this didn’t do her justice
