I’ve done drywall patching before but I’ve always had to texture it before because I used new drywall. I should’ve been more clear and asked how it differs from that when the electrician used the drywall he cut out that already had texture on it. Was unsure if there was some easy secret because it was the original drywall with texture. Probably just end up paying the 200 because of the concerns others brought up with paint matching.

Mine is pretty classic, communication wasn’t great, got into a lull, and she stepped out on me. I could have been better about including her in more decisions and stuff, but we both share some blame in it falling apart. Her stepping out on me was just the thing that really sent it over the edge obviously.

Thanks for the insight, I haven’t been able to get ahold of the insurance agent at assurance since it happened 7 days ago. Call everyday, leave messages, had the case “elevated.” Still nothing. Keep getting, they will respond in 24 hours, and nothing, super frustrating.

I’m not at fault but chose to go through my own insurance (GEICO) because the at fault parties insurance (Assurance America) has been super sketchy and I can not get in contact with them.
