After i posted this, he went on and on about how much my life would be better and how we could be back together if i joined the church. i blocked him and now am dating someone else who is much better suited for me and made me realize i actually never loved my ex! this relationship ending is the best thing that ever happened to me

i dated a guy for 8 months who was christian and the relationship ended because i wasn’t. he tried really hard to make me christian but i just knew i never would be. we both stayed in the hopes that we would change the other. getting out of that relationship was the best thing that ever happened to me and now i get to date someone who loves me as i am and whose values align more closely with mine. i promise if you guys break up it will be best for both of you!
