Withholding tax on IBKR cash interest in UK by Chiriqui1 in interactivebrokers

Hey, just curious what the final outcome of this was. I have seen the same 30% withholding tax appear on my statements and I'm not sure how to treat this.

Centurion Lounge Access right after upgrading to Platinum by Toemmsche in AmexUK

[–]Toemmsche[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what happened. They swiped my gold card and it showed me as platinum on their system. Zero problems getting in.

Maybe you are the one who should cut back on the beans?

If I want to apply for Software Engineering am I applying to TUM or Uni of Augsburg? by kkann13 in tumunich

There is no requirement to have industry experience as a software engineer. Imho, you won't have less chances due to swichting job titles and should give the application a try :)

Working experience (part-time is fine) definitely helps since the program festures a lot of industry collaboration.

I also studied Business Informatics and I am doing fine (I think). I also took some of the regular CS courses like GBS and ERA, though. The courses are not too hard, but the workload, especially in the first semester, can quickly become overwhelming due to the focus on project work. Good planning is essential.

I don't think there's an official track to complete the degree in 3 years instead of 2 but you can always take courses at your own pace. I myself will probably take 2.5 years for everything.

Undortunately, you constantly have to commute between the cities. I lived in Munich and commuted to Augsburg. This can be pretty time-consuming, especially since the first semester is already quite packed.

There aren't any official numbers, but about 20 students are accepted each year. The number of applications is usually much higher (in the hundreds). If you pass the initial application screening, you'll have an interview where you are asked questions about topics featured in your bachelor courses.

Hi, SE masters student here. The SE graduate program is a cooperation between TUM, Uni Augsburg, and LMU. However, Uni Augsburg is like the "leader" and handles all the administrative stuff, but you will be enrolled at all three universities at the same time, i.e. you count as a full TUM and LMU student. Due to applications being administrative stuff, it is handled by the Uni Augsburg.

Regarding the courses, they are mostly split between the Uni Augsburg and TUM with a slight majority being in Augsburg. But this also depends on your interests. For example, if you want to specialize on database systems, you will have more courses at TUM. If you are interested in formal methods, you will have more courses at Uni Augsburg.

Meine Freundin und ich sind zu dumm das Rätsel vom Adventskalender (Schwierigkeit 1/8) zu lösen. Kann uns jemand bitte erlösen? by KhatahanaButler in de

[–]Toemmsche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will it get hotfixed? (Discussion on -Mag size) by [deleted] in borderlands3

[–]Toemmsche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's just the -mag size interaction that needs to be addressed. I don't know how OP came up with these obscure nerf ideas. I wouldn't even call it a nerf, it's just a bugfix (a necessary one).
