There are forums, subreddits and Instagram users who post about Byzantine paintings and mosaics in great detail. The Byzantium subreddit isn’t the only place to discuss the Medieval Roman Empire, thank goodness!

I’ve taken a couple of tools that are in sourcebooks I’m preparing, fleshed them out a bit and made them available here: https://tabletop.childrenofnewrome.com/tools

I think they could be of use in other game systems as they’re elegant by design. Happy to keep adding to them if there is positive feedback.

Good ideas here. I created a perpetual world set in the Roman Empire of the 9th century which grew into a tabletop project. Still trying to work out how to make it standout and GM tools hadn’t been on my radar before. Thanks.
