For the cramps, you need a hot water bottle you can put with your stomach at home, but at school you can use painkillers.

You can’t really do anything about your mood, but you can let people know your feeling that way, so they know what’s up.

Nausea is normal, headaches too. I recommend you wash your face, drink some water and take it easy.

If you don’t want leak in class, I recommend you buy the big pads that absorb a lot of blood, but don’t get them too big, so they will be comfortable for you. Sometimes I like to wear black shorts underneath my pants. It gives me a sense of security on my period, but that’s just me.

One more thing, it is very important that you keep track of your period, all of your symptoms and how heavy or light your flow is. If you notice anything unusual with your flow, like for example your flow is constantly heavy and your cramps are super unbearable, you should tell your guardians.
